It's the end of the year, why wouldn't it be crazy? Turning in late assignments, stressing for finals, worrying about all the last minute things you've got to do before the end of the year.
I've done pretty well with everything, so in terms of that there isn't too much stress. But at the same time, there is. I've been pretty open on my blog, so if anyone reads this, then you probably know all that has been going on with me. Not that anyone really needs to.
This blog is my own little selfish outlet. Where I can rant and rave and nobody can complain. Or I guess you can, but if you don't like it, you don't have to read it.
I talked to my brother last night. He texted me, and I was so upset over my dad. Just everything he's been doing to me, whether he realizes it or not, he's still an ass. And my brother understood that, and he talked to me. It felt nice. I'm hanging out with him today after school, and I'm pretty happy about that too. I miss him. After he moved out, kinda moved on with his life, we stopped talking. For the most part. We don't really keep in touch much anymore, but I'm hoping to change that.
I'm pretty excited to hang out with him, if for no other reason than to just talk.
I've been listening to Demi Lovato's album Demi since it started streaming on the Internet. It wasn't supposed to be released until May 14th, but it ended up getting released early, and I'm so happy. I'm such a Lovatic, even if it doesn't seem like it. She's my idol. I mean, she's been through an Eating Disorder, Self Harm, Verbal abuse, things like that, and she 's still come out on the other side. It's just so inspiring to see her so strong, after everything. I love her.
Here's one of the songs from her album, and I can't stop listening to it. I just love it. <3
I'm addicted to "Two Pieces", "Heart Attack", "Warrior", "Neon Lights", "In Case", "Really Don't Care", "Fire Starter", "Something That We're Not", and "Never Been Hurt". Which is almost all of the songs off her album.
Not all of them, but most of them.
This album is definitely different from her last one. Her last one had more personal songs on it, like Skyscraper and Fix A Heart.
This one has more of the mainstream "pop" style to it, but still, I like it. If you don't that's alright.
I've spent my entire English period doing everything BUT writing the Hamlet Literary Analysis Essay I'm supposed to be writing. (:
Well, for now anyways. And I totally got busted for it, but whatever. That's alright. I really should get to work... So for now, toodles!!
Hope everyone is having a good day! :D
lol...I'm not sure if you wrote this blog title before or after our chat this morning, but it made me smile again ;D
ReplyDeleteI heard "Warrior" for the first time the other day...love it! Demi has done it again, she is amazzzzing! <3
It was after, but you gave me the idea. :D
DeleteThat's great! I'm glad you're hanging out with your brother. Siblings are the best shoulders to lean on sometimes, especially older siblings.
ReplyDeleteAnd it does suck that your dad grounded you. You know he did it because he thought you just ditched for no reason though. If he doesn't understand where you're coming from , he's going to keep treating you like you have no problems and you're just doing things like that because you're lazy or to piss him off or something. Is there a way you could give him a clue? Or tell him a little piece of it without telling him all of it?
Why would telling him about panic attacks lead to telling him about an ED? You don't have to say why you have the attacks, or you could make up a reason.
Yeah, we had a good time. Just hung out and it was so nice to talk to him since he knows exactly what my dad can be like.
DeleteMy dad didn't even ground me because of ditching. I don't even think he knows that I WAS ditching. I think it was just that my grandma said she was tired of getting calls from the school and that she was tired of her calling him while he was at work.
If I told him about the panic attacks, he and my family would question me until they found out everything. Either that or my dad wouldn't believe me. He believes that ever sign of weakness is a lie. He knows about the self harm, but he still thought it was bullshit and that I'd lied. Which that should be physical proof. My dad refuses to see that there is anything wrong with me. He thinks if he doesn't notice then it goes away.
Sorry I haven't checked any blogs for so long. Since I had to make mine private cos of my sister's snooping I stopped really using blogger.
ReplyDeleteYou're studying Hamlet? Same. It's so deep isn't it? I keep crying quietly in class when we do the 'to be or not to be' suicide soliloquy, the guy who sits opposite me is the only one who noticed. He must think I'm mad haha.
I've literally only ever listened to 'Skycraper' by Demi, but I love it. I watched her documentary, it was genuinely inspiring. I might download more of her stuff later.
I really hope you're okay.
I love you to the moon and back <3
You can make it private but public for only certain people. I would be worried thy you'd stopped blogging IMO dint have another way titalk to you and make sure you're alright.
DeleteI cried during the 'To Be or Not To Be' soliloquy as well, but nobody noticed.
It's cool that we're studying the Sam things. I'm having a really hard time with Hanlet though.
Demi is my idol. You should listen to some more of her other songs from her album 'Unbroken'. It's so inspiring. Xx
